Girl Scouts is a great organization.  My daughter has grown a lot due in part to her involvement with Girl Scouts.  So when you encounter those Girl Scouts at the grocery store or your front door in the coming weeks, consider buying some Girl Scout cookies.  It's a good investment.  Plus, cookies are yum-my!

The last month has been a whirlwind.  Whirl.  Wind.  Hubby was gone for a week, which entailed me running the kids everywhere by myself, then the kids and I went yurt camping for a couple of days, then I was at the con in LA for a long weekend, then home and the sickness that ensued, then the end of tax season and a lot of work and then Seattle ( Read more... )

I feel like I just got home from LA and now I'm getting ready to go to Seattle this weekend with our Girl Scout troop.  I'd be a lot more excited if I wasn't so sick.  Ugh.  It will be fun though.  The girls voted on what they wanted to do while we were there.  They voted for the zoo, the Underground Tour and Ride the Ducks.  All fun things.  I ( Read more... )
